I had and still having a terrible experience. Dr Moore and his assistant both told me that my Anthem insurance would be fine at Riverview. I called Riverview two times to verify that my insurance would cover me at Riverview. A lady named Mary assured me that with Anthem and Medicare A that I would not be out any money. So I was lied to on 4 occasions. The billing came back and Riverview is out of network so I owe the anesthesia $1800 and still getting threating letters from Riverview. I would not trust the Dr since they own the place, the staff at Riverview actually lied to me three times. I will never go back or deal with anyone that works at Riverview. A big rip off.
The care I received was excellent. My surgery was a success and I am doing fine, regarding my health. If the billing department is correct regarding the bill, then I am satisfied. However, if that total changes due to denial of payment from my insurance, and I end up having to pay the entire cost after being told they were in my network? I am going to be quite upset.
